Andrea Hutchinson

Andrea Hutchinson, CMP has extensive work experience in event planning, marketing, and industry relations. Andrea most recently worked at Questex as the Industry Relations Director for the Travel, Hospitality & Wellness Group. Prior to that, they held the same position at Questex Travel & Hospitality Group. Andrea also worked as a Senior Manager of Marketing & Buyer Acquisition at Questex Travel Group, where they focused on buyer acquisition for MICE events. Additionally, they have experience as a Meeting Planner Consultant at The Event Pros, Strategic Vision, Inc, FIRST, Finn Partners, and American Society of Travel Agents. Andrea's roles in these positions included managing logistics, booking speakers, and coordinating on-site activities for various conferences and events. Andrea also served as the Events Director Consultant at Finn Partners, where they worked with the Hyundai team and managed event marketing for the New York State Division of Tourism. Andrea's earlier experience includes working as the ITExpo Event Planner and Event Operations Consultant at Gartner, as well as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Strategic Vision, Inc. Andrea gained experience in sponsor relations and sales, securing sponsorships for the American Express Publishing Luxury Summit and launching a division for event series at Unicomm. Andrea Hutchinson, CMP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Public Relations, which they obtained from the University of Florida from 1981 to 1985. Andrea has also earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council. Additionally, Andrea has obtained additional certifications, including "The Three Pillars of Effective Communication" from LinkedIn.
