Shawn Massie

Shawn Massie has extensive work experience in the technology and management fields. Shawn is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Quext since 2020. Shawn previously held the same position at Madera Residential from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Information Systems at Madera Residential from 2017 to 2019.

Before that, Shawn worked at Texas Tech University as the Associate Managing Director - Administration and Finance Information Systems Management from 2012 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing day-to-day operations, project completion, product enhancement, and employee supervision. Shawn also played a key role in new product and project development and establishing the overall direction of leveraging technology.

Prior to their tenure at Texas Tech, Shawn served as the Chief Analyst - Finance Systems Management at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from 2011 to 2012. Shawn started their career at RPS Solutions, where they worked as the Business Development Manager / Systems Implementation Analyst from 2007 to 2011. At RPS Solutions, they specialized in industrial work apparel and work safety apparel.

Shawn also worked at Trailer Moves Inc. as the Operations Manager / Analyst from 2006 to 2007. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in technology leadership, project management, and strategic planning throughout their career.

Shawn Massie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media Business from Abilene Christian University, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from Hardin-Simmons University, which they completed during the academic year of 2004 to 2005.
