Austin Darnell

Austin Darnell currently serves as Program Manager for New Product Development in Point of Care Testing and Specialty Products at QuidelOrtho since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Category Manager and Project Manager for New Product Introductions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where Austin also completed a two-year Operations Leadership Development Program featuring comprehensive rotations across various functions. Earlier career experiences involve positions as Process Engineer, Procurement Specialist, Packaging Supervisor, and Continuous Improvement Specialist at Patheon Clinical Trial Services. Prior to these roles, Austin interned as a Manufacturing Engineer and R&D Engineer at Abbott. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2020.
