Kevin V King

Kevin V King, PhD, currently serves as Senior Director of Scientific Affairs at QuidelOrtho, where collaboration with internal and external partners enhances the clinical and economic value of diagnostic products. Previous roles include Executive Director of Corporate Engagement at Ohio University, fostering relationships between corporations and the university, and Director of Industry Partnerships at King Bioservices, LLC, advising diagnostic developers and manufacturers. King has also held senior leadership positions at Quidel and Diagnostic Hybrids, overseeing research and development and product management for diagnostic assays. Early experience includes serving as a Principal Scientist at Midwest Research Institute and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Kansas, with foundational expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry. Educational credentials include a PhD in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by a graduate course in Embryology and a BS in Zoology from Ohio University.
