Shuyan Rothchild

Shuyan Rothchild is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in software quality assurance and testing across various medical and technology sectors. Currently serving as an Instrument V&V Engineer at QuidelOrtho since November 2021, Shuyan previously held the position of System Test Engineer (Lead) at Philips, where leadership in system integration and verification for Image Guided Therapy Devices was a key responsibility. Shuyan's extensive experience includes significant roles as a Principal Software Quality Engineer at BD and as a Senior Software Quality Engineer at CareFusion, both focusing on infusion pump testing. Early career experience includes software quality engineering and development roles at Sotera Wireless, NXP Semiconductors, and Conexant Systems. Shuyan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from San Diego State University, a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Toledo, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
