Manuel Creto

Manuel Creto has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. Manuel began their career as an Accountant and Auditor at AC Accounting & Management in 1993, where they performed accounting, audit, tax, and business consultancy. Manuel then moved to Kimberly-Clark in 1996, where they worked as a Business Analyst, handling general business analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Manuel joined PSA International Pte Ltd in 2000, initially as a Finance and Admin. Manager, overseeing the finance and administration function of a deep-sea container terminal project. Manuel was later promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), responsible for creating shareholder value through financial leadership. Manuel then transitioned to the position of Deputy General Manager & CFO, where they collaborated in developing and expanding the port. In 2016, they joined Quidgest as a CFO & Senior Business Consultant, providing project management and business consulting services to help organizations define and execute their information strategy. Overall, Manuel Creto has demonstrated their expertise in finance, governance, and business ICT alignment throughout their career.

Manuel Creto began their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from ESGT (IPT, Tomar) between 1990 and 1993. Following this, they pursued a post-graduate degree in Accounting and Audit at ISCAL-Lisbon Accounting and Business School from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Intermediate/Advanced Accounting and Audit.

Moving on to their master's education, Manuel attended ESCE IPS | Escola Superior de Ciências Empresariais do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal from 2009 to 2011, working towards a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting. The completion of their thesis discussion was pending in this program, focusing on Corporate Finance and Advanced Accounting.

In 2015 and 2016, Manuel pursued post-graduate studies in Computer Science and Business at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, specializing in Computer & Information Sciences and Business.

On the certification front, Manuel obtained the title of Certified Accountant from Ordem dos Técnicos Oficiais de Contas in September 1993. More recently, in September 2018, they completed the Microsoft Teams Essential Training provided by LinkedIn.
