Shannon Browne

Shannon Browne is the Professional Learning Manager at Quill.org. Shannon has over ten years of experience in education, including as a teacher, director, and operations manager. Browne began their career as an English teacher at Williamsburg Charter High School in 2007. Shannon then moved to Believe Southside Charter High School, where they served as Director of Instruction from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, Browne joined Harlem Village Academies as an English teacher. In 2013, they were promoted to Senior Director of Operations at MESA Charter High School, where they worked until 2017. Browne then joined KIPP NYC as Regional Associate Director of Operations, a position they held until 2020.

Shannon Browne has a Masters in English Education from NYU and a Bachelors in English Literature also from NYU. Shannon is certified by the New York State Education Department to teach English Language Arts to students in grades 7-12.
