Susan Bleakney

Head Start Family Engagement Coordinator at Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc.

Susan Bleakney has a diverse work experience. Susan started working as a Program Director and Graduate Assistant at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University from September 1996 to August 1999. Susan then worked as an Educational Consultant at The May Institute from 1999 to 2004. In 2014, they became a Taekwondo Instructor at Jae Hun Kim Taekwon-do Institute and continued in that role until 2020. In 2017, they joined Quincy Asian Resources, Inc as a Family Literacy Coordinator until February 2019, and then became the Director of Adult Education until December 2020. Currently, they are working as a Head Start Family Engagement Coordinator at Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc since April 2021.

Susan Bleakney graduated from Drew University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Susan went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology at Boston University. The dates for their studies at Boston University are not provided.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Susan has obtained certifications in teaching business English and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) from The TEFL Academy - Leading EFL Teacher Trainer Provider in July 2021.
