Thomas Jester, FAIA, FAPT, LEED AP, is a licensed architect specializing in historic preservation and building renewal with over thirty years of experience. Currently serving as Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Quinn Evans, Thomas has directed numerous high-profile projects, including the modernization of the National Academy of Sciences and the renovation of Old City Hall. Previously, they held positions at the National Park Service, Martinez+Johnson Architecture, and Beyer Blinder Belle. A national leader in historic preservation, Thomas is a Fellow of both the AIA and the Association for Preservation Technology International, and co-founded APTI’s Technical Committee on Modern Heritage. Thomas also edited the book *Twentieth-Century Building Materials: History and Conservation*.
