Peter B. Longley

Peter B. Longley, DNP, RN, currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Nursing Professor at Quinnipiac University since August 2021, following a diverse career in healthcare management and education. Previously, Peter held the role of Sleep Study Program Manager at Yale New Haven Hospital, overseeing operational management and strategic growth initiatives. With extensive experience at Yale New Haven Health as a Finance Manager and Clinical Data Coordinator, Peter coordinated financial functions and improved patient care through data analysis. Peter contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at both Quinnipiac University and the University of Saint Joseph, teaching advanced nursing concepts. Prior positions also include roles in patient flow management at various healthcare facilities and ownership of a small business, showcasing a well-rounded background in health and business. Peter's educational credentials include a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Quinnipiac University and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University, complemented by military leadership training.
