Alyssa Pedersen

Alyssa Pedersen began their work experience in 2013 as an Instructional Support Assistant at California State University, Chico. In this role, they provided support in a teaching environment. Alyssa then participated in a Research Education for Undergraduates program at the same university.

In 2014, Pedersen became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, where they taught weekly labs in statistics classes. Alyssa played an instrumental role in facilitating learning through accessible presentations and meaningful feedback on assignments. Pedersen also ensured overall organization by maintaining online course pages and updating grade books.

During their time at Oregon State University, Pedersen also served as the President of the Oregon State Statistics Organization. In this role, they organized fundraisers and events to foster relationships between students and faculty. Alyssa effectively managed other officers and led meetings. Additionally, Pedersen welcomed new students and actively recruited potential students to the statistics department.

In 2016, Pedersen joined QuinStreet as the Director of Client Analytics.

Alyssa Pedersen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from California State University, Chico, from 2010 to 2014. Alyssa further pursued their academic goals and obtained a Master's degree in Statistics from Oregon State University, from 2014 to 2016.
