Madhu Pani

Madhu Pani has extensive work experience in the field of information security and compliance. They currently hold the position of Senior Director, InfoSec and Compliance at QuinStreet since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an AVP, InfoSec and Global Networks at MetricStream from July 2021 to June 2022. From June 2020 to July 2021, Madhu Pani served as the Director of Information Security and Compliance at QuinStreet.

Before joining QuinStreet, Madhu Pani worked at BlackBerry AtHoc as a Senior Manager Information Security (September 2015 to June 2020) and as a Sr. Infosec Analyst (December 2014 to September 2015). In these roles, they oversaw the strategic transformation of information security policies, implemented various security solutions, and represented IT security in cross-functional teams.

Prior to their time at BlackBerry AtHoc, Madhu Pani worked at Sage Technology Partners, Inc as a Sr. Information Security Analyst from October 2012 to December 2014. They also held the position of Vice President of Engineering & Operations at CyberSecurityWorks, Inc from August 2011 to September 2012.

Madhu Pani's earlier experience includes working at New Mexico Tech / CAaNES as a Research Scientist / Senior Information Security Analyst (August 2008 to December 2011) and as a System Administrator (June 2005 to August 2008). In these roles, they were involved in designing and maintaining networks, implementing wireless network infrastructure, and managing information systems.

Madhu Pani has a strong educational background in technology and computer science. Madhu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 1998 and 2002. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, completing it from 2005 to 2007. Continuing their education, Madhu Pani then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Malware Analysis from the same institute, which they accomplished between 2007 and 2011.

Additionally, Madhu Pani has acquired professional certifications in the field of cybersecurity. Madhu became a Certified Ethical Hacker™ through the EC-Council in October 2013. In the same year, they also obtained a Social Media Security Professional (SMSP) certification from Ultimate Knowledge in April 2013.
