Ravi Kulkarni

Ravi Kulkarni has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Ravi started their career at SoftFact Inc in 1992 as a Partner, where they designed and developed BI/reporting applications for public companies and nationalized banks. Ravi also developed a banking application to facilitate nationwide reconciliation.

In 1999, Kulkarni moved to BitConnect as a Sr DBA, providing production DBA support for clients such as Picosito.com and GiftTrend.com. Later that year, they joined PeopleTrends Inc as a Sr Database Architect / DBA, where they designed various database systems for specialty gift management, incentive management, and tracking ecommerce activity.

In 2002, Kulkarni transitioned to QuinStreet, initially serving as a Sr. Database Administrator and a Tech Lead for Business Intelligence. Ravi played a key role in QuinStreet's data initiatives, including the design of their first data warehouse and the integration of acquired businesses. Ravi continued to advance in their career at QuinStreet, taking on roles such as Director of Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse and Senior Director of Business Intelligence, where they were involved in defining project scope, vendor selection, and licensing processes for big data, visual analytics, and data exploration platforms.

Currently, Kulkarni holds the position of Vice President of Data at QuinStreet.

Ravi Kulkarni started their education in 1986 at VESIT University of Mumbai, where they pursued a Diploma in Computer Technology. Ravi then went on to complete their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering at Maharashtra Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1992. Simultaneously, during the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
