Albert started their educational journey at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree with a focus on food industries, microbiology, biochemistry, dietetics, gastroenterology, and business administration. Albert then pursued further studies at Universitat de Lleida from 1998 to 2002, earning another Engineer's Degree with a specialization in biotechnology, virology, genetic breeding, economy, project, and business administration.
After completing their initial engineering education, Albert Pineda went on to Oregon State University from 2002 to 2007, embarking on a PhD program with a research emphasis on genetics, growth hormones, recombinant proteins, and enzyme technology. Following the completion of their PhD, they participated in a postdoctoral fellowship at Charles University from 2008 to 2012, focusing on biomedicine.

In later years, Albert Pineda engaged in professional development programs and training.
