David Barker

David is CTO & VP of Technology Marketing at Quintel. David heads up Quintel’s Intellectual Property assets, and directs Quintel’s Pre-sales activities, Business Development, Product roadmap, Product Line Management and Innovations. Prior to Quintel, David worked briefly with Arieso in the application and development of automated intelligent 3G network design optimisation products, and over 7 years with Mason Communications (now Analysys Mason) as a principal consultant in RF and network advisory matters all over the world. David started his career in RF engineering 20 years ago in EW systems with the UK Ministry of Defence. David is a Chartered Engineer, holds a BEng (Hons) from Bradford University and an MSc from the Royal Military College of Science and a Senior IEEE Member. David has a number of patent applications and grants, and is author of a number of academic and conference papers.
