Gilles TRACHSEL

Gilles TRACHSEL has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1993. Gilles started their career as a Support Manager at CCP Integration SA. Gilles then moved to 3Com as a New Business Development Manager in 1999. In 2001, they joined USRobotics as a Product Marketing Manager. In 2003, they were Support Manager for a Multi Country Region at Peribit Networks. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at Juniper Networks, first as Solutions Marketing Senior Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, then as Business Manager for Advanced Technologies in Russia, Eastern and South Eastern Europe. From 2014 to 2016, they were Business Development Manager at LANexpert (member of Veltigroup), where they were responsible for analysing key market trends, customer needs and technology evolution. Finally, they are currently Area Vice President - EMEA at QuintessenceLabs, a company that delivers powerful data protection enhanced by the quantum power of nature.

Gilles Trachsel obtained a Master's Degree in Telecom, Electrical Eng, and Energy from HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale between 1989 and 1993. In 2013, they attended Harvard Business School for a course in High Performance Marketing Mix Management. Gilles also holds several certifications, including Aruba Certified Sales Specialist and Aruba ClearPass Sales Specialist from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, Cisco Business Value Analyst and Cisco Sales Expert (CSE) from Cisco, and Riverbed Sales Specialist - SD, Riverbed Technical Sales Specialist - NPM, and Riverbed Technical Sales Specialist - W from Riverbed Technology.
