Jon Nicholson has held a variety of roles in the business world since 1985. Starting as the Senior Private Secretary to the Prime Minister of Australia, they then moved to The Boston Consulting Group in 1988 as Senior Vice President. In 1994, they were elected to the partnership of The Boston Consulting Group. In 2006, they took on the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Westpac, where they were responsible for Strategy and M&A across the Westpac Group, and was a member of the executive Team. In 2015, they took on multiple roles, including Non Executive Director and Chair of Remuneration Committee at IAG, Chair and Non-Executive Director at QuintessenceLabs, Non Executive Director at Cape York Partnership, and Director at Westpac Scholars.
Jon Nicholson attended the Australian National University from 1974 to 1977, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
