Sam Zeter has had a varied work experience. In 2014, they worked as a Disability Support Worker at Uniting Care Community, where they provided community and home based support with diverse clients, delivered care, and assisted clients with medication. In 2018, they worked as an Undergraduate Electrical Engineer at Aurecon, and as a Software Developer at Opengear. Sam also worked as a Mentor at QUT (Queensland University of Technology), where they mentored 6 groups of several students for the course ‘EGB220 - Mechatronics Design 1’. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Boeing, and in 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at QuintessenceLabs.
Sam Zeter has an extensive education history. From 2011 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the University of New England (AU) in Secondary Education and Teaching. From 2014 to 2018, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Sam is currently in the process of obtaining a Diploma of French from the University of New England (AU), which they began in 2014 and is expected to complete in 2020. Additionally, Sam Zeter has obtained certifications in Blue Card, CPR, Senior First Aid, and Yellow Card.
