Troy Van Dongen

Productionisation Engineer at QuintessenceLabs

Troy Van Dongen has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 1988 as a Kitchen Hand at The Station Resort and a Ski Hire Attendant at Siesta Villa Motor Inn. In 1990, they became a Firefighter at Jindabyne Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade. In 1998, they took on the role of Security Specialist at High Rise Security. In 1992, they joined the Royal Australian Navy as a Security & Vetting Officer, and held various roles including Communications & Navigational Aids Manager, Technical Maintenance Manager, Engineering Chief, Technical Support Manager, and Electronics Communications Maintainer. In 2017, they became an Operations/Project Manager at Benelec Pty Ltd, and also took on the role of RADAR Specialist/WHS Manager/Chief Remote Pilot at HENSOLDT Australia & New Zealand. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Productionisation Engineer at QuintessenceLabs.

Troy Van Dongen's education history includes attending Kanahooka High School from 1986 to 1988, Monaro High School from 1988 to 1991, and HMAS Nirimba from 1992 to 1993, where they studied Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
