Joana McQueen has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2010 as a Human Resources Administrator at the Lancaster London hotel. Joana then moved on to work as a Customer Service Executive at First Great Western from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Joana joined Quintessentially and held various HR positions, including HR & Payroll Officer from 2012 to 2014, HR & Payroll Manager from 2014 to 2015, and Group HR & Talent Manager from 2015 to present. Joana'sresponsibilities at Quintessentially included employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with legal and risk factors. Joana has also demonstrated their ability to provide excellent customer service and be a brand ambassador.

Joana McQueen pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2000 to 2005, they attended Sion Manning Roman Catholic Secondary Girls School, where they acquired 12 GCSE's with grades ranging from A to C. Subsequently, Joana attended St Charles Sixth Form from 2007 to 2009, completing their A-Levels in Psychology, Travel and Tourism, General Studies, and Art & Design. Moving forward, they enrolled at Buckinghamshire New University from 2009 to 2011, obtaining a BA hons degree in International Travel and Tourism Management.

In addition to their formal education, Joana obtained several certifications. In June 2013, they acquired the Level 3- HR Practice certification from CIPD. In October 2014, they earned the Level 5- HR Management certification, also from CIPD. Two other certifications, Emergency First Aid and Fire Marshall, were obtained in May 2014 and July 2016, respectively, from St Johns Ambulance.
