John Odom

John Odom has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Developer at QuintEvents since February 2020. Prior to that, they attended Flatiron School and completed a Full Stack Software Engineering Graduate program from November 2019 to February 2020. Before their career in software development, they worked at Southeastern Educational, where they held various roles including Vice President of Sales from August 2017 to July 2019, Lead Sales Representative from December 2015 to August 2017, and Account Consultant from December 2014 to December 2015. During their time at Southeastern Educational, they successfully developed long-term relationships with clients, generated new business opportunities through email marketing and cold-calling, and tripled their portfolio of clients.

John Odom's education history includes completing a course in Computer Software Engineering at Flatiron School in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Appalachian State University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance and Banking. In addition to their formal education, John also holds a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, which they obtained from Amazon in December 2019.
