Amanda Cavalcanti

Amanda Cavalcanti is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at QuintoAndar since October 2021, Amanda focuses on automating marketplace payment systems and building a proptech marketplace using technologies like Java, Spring, Postgres, and MySQL. Prior roles include backend development at Itaú Unibanco, where Amanda created Banking as a Service APIs, and positions involving data analysis and web development for public transparency initiatives. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in Interactive Media from the University of the Sunshine Coast, alongside multiple degrees in Computer Science and Design. This diverse expertise is complemented by teaching experience in data science and programming at the university level.
