Thomas Kaufmann

Director at Quirin Privatbank AG

As a traditionally educated banker, his motivation is to give their best to their clients and to be a strong partner for them. It is a matter of proving these in good times as well as in bad. He is especially proud of more than 50 transactions, which he has implemented for their clients and their staff.

In addition to professional aspects, he always focuses on the person he sees face to face. Furthermore, a central point is building lasting relationships with their clients. This is his approach, whether he was Head of Debt Capital Markets at Steubing AG, where he was responsible for advising and structuring corporate bonds, nor at Close Brothers Seydler Bank, where he established and managed the Debt Capital Markets and also when he worked in the capital market operations of other international banks.

But why are lasting relationships with clients so important to him? Although a banker through and through, he does not focus on one transaction. To his mind, the first transaction he implements for a client in capital markets is always the beginning of something bigger.
