Sarah Wentzel-Fisher

Sarah Wentzel-Fisher currently serves as the Land and Ag Policy Officer at Thornburg Foundation, a position held since January 2025, while also being the Executive Director of Quivira Coalition since January 2017. With a strong focus on sustainable agriculture and land management, Sarah actively participates on the board of the Southwest Grassfed Livestock Alliance, where responsibilities include financial oversight and organizational development. Previously, Sarah chaired the Rio Grande Agricultural Land Trust, advised on conservation issues, and held editorial roles at edible Santa Fe, curating content and community events. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Master's Certificate in Historic Preservation and Conservation from The University of New Mexico.
