Javier Blanco Cordero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Javier started their career as an intern at the Galician Automotive Technology Centre - CTAG, where they worked as a Test Engineer. During this time, they made significant contributions to improving the corrosion test machine and received recognition for their fuel-saving idea.

Javier then joined The University of Manchester as an Engineering Ambassador on the Ultimate Car Challenge, where they mentored high school students and promoted STEM subjects.

After that, Javier joined Jaguar Land Rover as a Graduate Product Creation Engineer, where they were responsible for developing data analysis tools and vehicle models. Javier later became a part of the central agile team focusing on data science and virtual model tools, where they developed new tools and models for assessing vehicle performance.

Javier then moved on to Orange, where they served as a Data Scientist. In this role, they developed Artificial Intelligence solutions for various marketing business cases, using advanced machine learning models and working with big data environments.

Currently, Javier works at Quix as a Senior Data Scientist, where they apply their expertise to develop data science solutions.

In addition to their corporate roles, Javier also worked at The Valley Digital Business School as a Lecturer for the Master in Data Science & Big Data Analytics program.

Throughout their career, Javier has demonstrated expertise in data science, machine learning, and developing innovative solutions for various industries.

Javier Blanco Cordero began their education journey in 2010 when they enrolled at Universidade de Vigo. Javier pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed their studies in 2014. Following this, Javier went on to attend The University of Manchester in 2014 where they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Javier has acquired several certifications. In April 2020, they completed the course "Causal Diagrams: Draw Your Assumptions Before Your Conclusions" offered by Harvardx on edX. In December 2018, they obtained certifications in "Statistical Thinking in Python (Part 1)" and "Statistical Thinking in Python (Part 2)" from DataCamp. Javier also completed the "Python Programmer Track" and "Scikit-Learn: Supervised Learning" courses through DataCamp, although the specific completion months and years are not available. Lastly, Javier holds a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Bradford, although the completion details for this certification are unknown.
