Alexander Matthee

Alexander Matthee is currently serving as Team Lead for Control Systems and Electronics Engineer at QuiX Quantum since September 2023. Previously, Alexander conducted research as a PhD Candidate at the University of Twente from October 2019 to September 2023, focusing on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) related to isolated micro-grids. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Integrity Engineer at Altair, where responsibilities encompassed software quality assurance and system administration, as well as a Junior Application Engineer at Azoteq, concentrating on hardware design and firmware development. Early career experience as a Laboratory Technician was gained at Cobham Aviation Services. Alexander holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Twente, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Stellenbosch University, and a National Diploma from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
