Mark Dawson

Mark Dawson has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 as a Summer Associate at Oliver Wyman. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Factual Inc for two years before moving to Foursquare as a Software Engineer from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they joined the Recurse Center as a Recurser, where they focused on technical projects and pair programming. Currently, Mark is a Co-founder at Quix, which is the largest NFT marketplace on Optimism, aiming to scale NFTs to the next 100 million people.

Mark Dawson attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2013 to 2018. During this time, they studied Computer Science and Economics and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. In 2015, Mark also briefly attended Duke University and Sciences Po, although they did not obtain any degrees or specify a field of study during that time.
