Deepak Joy Cheenath

Deepak Joy Cheenath has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Deepak Joy co-founded Quizizz Inc. in 2015, where they aimed to create an engaging learning platform for educators. Prior to Quizizz, they co-founded WizenWorld in 2013, an animated role-playing game designed to help middle school students learn math concepts. At Amazon, Deepak worked as a Software Development Engineer from 2011 to 2013, focusing on marketing activities targeted at Amazon Sellers and web development. Deepak Joy began their career at SAP Labs as an intern in 2010, where they worked on creating a spreadsheet module and the Event Scheduler module for SAP Streamwork online collaboration suite.

Deepak Joy Cheenath's education history begins in 1994 when they attended St. Columba's School in New Delhi, where they completed 1st and 2nd grade. In 1996, they enrolled at 32nd Street School in Los Angeles, where they studied from 2nd to 6th grade. For their middle school education, from 2000 to 2003, Deepak attended Rachana School in Ahmedabad, completing 6th, 7th, and 8th class. Deepak Joy then moved to St. Mary's High School in Mt. Abu, where they pursued their 10th board ICSE, successfully completing it in 2005. Deepak's secondary education continued at Delhi Public School in R. K. Puram, where they completed their 12th board CBSE between 2005 and 2007. Lastly, from 2007 to 2011, Deepak attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they obtained an M.Sc. (tech) degree in Information Systems.
