Samu Joseph

Samu Joseph has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Samu started their career as a Freelance Web Developer in 2010, specializing in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. In this role, they focused on website development, customization of open source content management systems, and search engine optimization.

In 2015, Samu joined Razorthink Inc. as a Software Engineer. Razorthink is an Enterprise AI Systems company, and Samu's responsibilities included developing Deep Learning intelligent systems and creating Expert AIs for data analysis challenges. Samu worked with technologies such as Customer Predictions, Intelligent Recommendations, Fraud Detection, and Intelligent Process Automation.

Continuing their career progression, Samu joined MoEngage Inc. in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer. MoEngage is a Customer Engagement Platform that combines Product Analytics and Marketing Automation. Samu played a key role in orchestrating campaigns across channels like push, email, in-app messaging, web push, and SMS, implementing auto-optimization powered by machine learning.

In 2021, Samu took on the position of Tech Lead at Teachmint. Here, they led a team and contributed to the development of tech solutions. Finally, in 2023, Samu joined Quizizz as a Software Engineer. Overall, Samu Joseph has gained significant experience in software engineering, web development, AI systems, and customer engagement platforms throughout their career.

Samu Joseph completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mangalam College of Engineering in Ettumanoor, Kerala between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Citadel Residential School in Ranni, Kerala from 2009 to 2011, where they studied Computer Science for their +2 Higher Secondary degree. Before that, they completed their High School education at St. Pius X English School in Kuttikanam, Kerala. In addition to their formal education, Samu Joseph obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level Certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2015, and they also earned the Web Component Development with Servlets and JSPs Java EE6 certification from Oracle in August 2014.
