About the Team:

The Ads Sales Team provides best-in-class advertising solutions for large brand advertisers.  We are a rapidly growing team of high-energy individuals committed to helping our advertisers to connect with students and teachers. We provide creative ad programs, strategic data insights, and excellent customer service. Our team plays a key part in Quizlet’s success as the ad programs we develop, sell and deliver keep Quizlet free of charge for millions of users around the globe.

About the Role:

We are a rapidly growing digital ad sales team. You will play a crucial role in achieving our revenue objectives. You will help execute ad sales strategies to generate direct sales revenue. You will own and drive all phases of the pre-sales lifecycle including research for impactful data for sales pitches, creating personalized pitch decks, efficient and effective media plans, and other collateral and sales communication tools.

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York office hub.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with the Sales team to understand client objectives to create RFP response decks utilizing the full scope of ad products that strategically address the advertiser’s needs and campaign objectives for digital ad buys.
  • Create media plans that address client KPIs, target audience, past results and inventory to ensure we deliver on client expectations
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to help generate ideas to design custom, tailored proposals with Quizlet Ads brand positioning
  • Collaborate with Account Management team to bring insights from past campaigns into future proposals
  • Utilize digital analysis tools to provide industry-specific recommendations
  • Partner with internal teams including Account Management, Ad Ops, Marketing and Product to build custom programs and roll out new ad products to include in proposals that address client needs
  • Collaborate with Ad Ops on inventory pulls to inform media plans
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in end-to-end proposal process
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral including pitch decks, vertical-specific marketing insights, one-sheeters, media kit, and ad specs
  • Lead design execution of custom programs using Figma including e-mail ad mocks, new custom ad formats, landing page builds
  • Lead implementation of building custom content landing pages on Quizlet.com for ad programs

What you bring to the table:

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital advertising
  • Figma experience preferred
  • Prismic experience a plus
  • Comscore experience a plus
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication style
  • Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator
  • Energetic, customer-focused self-starter with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive under pressure-filled situations
  • Open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve
  • Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly changing environment

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

Salary transparency helps to mitigate unfair hiring practices when it comes to discrimination and pay gaps.  Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $95,000 - $112,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
