Dave Underwood

Dave Underwood is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Qumulex. Dave has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry, holding various sales and management positions at some of the world's largest companies.

Underwood began their career in 1979 as a sales representative for Burroughs Corporation. Dave later joined AT&T in 1984, where they spent five years in sales and regional management. In 1989, they moved to Truevision, where they were OEM & Regional Sales Manager for five years.

In 1994, Underwood co-founded Integral Technologies, a software development company specializing in video compression and streaming technologies. Dave served as President of the company for eight years, until it was acquired by Tyco Security Products in 2002.

Underwood then joined Johnson Controls in 2016 as VP & General Manager. Dave left the company after just four months to co-found Qumulex with their current business partner, Jeff Erhardt.

Qumulex is a software development company that specializes in providing enterprise solutions for the video surveillance industry. Underwood currently serves as Executive Chairman of the company.

Dave Underwood's educational career began with a BSBA in Business Management from Central Michigan University.
