Philip Taron

Philip Taron has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Qumulo since April 2013. Prior to this role, Taron spent over seven years at Microsoft, contributing as a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Windows Azure Storage team and in various capacities, including Software Development Engineer II, focusing on anti-malware solutions and ensuring software performance and reliability. Earlier experience includes a position as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Attachmate, where Taron worked on PC management and X-Server software. Taron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Washington University.
