Ying Fairweather

Ying Fairweather is an experienced Engineering Manager at Qumulo since February 2018, leading a core filesystem team in developing the Azure Native Qumulo filesystem architecture. Prior roles at Qumulo included Senior Member of Technical Staff and Technical Lead, focusing on enterprise-scale distributed NAS file systems and leading efforts to address complex field issues. Before joining Qumulo, Ying worked as a Software Engineer II at Hewlett Packard Enterprise on the 3PAR InServ Storage Server, contributing to its fault-tolerant storage functionalities. Academic background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Hubei University.
