Felipe Giraldo

Scientist at Qunnect

Felipe Giraldo is currently a Scientist at Qunnect, where work focuses on developing a neutral atom quantum computer utilizing cesium atoms in a 3D array. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory of David S. Weiss, engaging in the creation of cluster states through ultracold atom collisions, and multiple teaching roles at Penn State University and The University of Texas at Austin, receiving commendations for teaching effectiveness. Felipe has also contributed to research in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Force Microscopy and improved radiation dosage simulations during an internship at Fermilab. Felipe holds a Doctorate in Physics and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics.
