Ruediger Heicappell

Ruediger Heicappell has a long and varied work experience. Ruediger began their career in 1983 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center. In 1985, they were a Visiting Scientist at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Cell Biology. From 1986 to 1993, they were a Resident in Surgery/Urology at the University of Düsseldorf. From 1993 to 2002, they were a Senior Staff/PD/Professor of Urology at Freie Universität Berlin. From 2002 to 2003, they were the Head of Department of Urology at DRK KLiniken. From 2003 to 2013, they were Medical Director, Asklepios Klinikum Uckermark, Member of the Supervisory Board, Asklepios Klinikum Uckermark GmbH, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Head, Department of Urology, Asklepios Klinikum Uckermark GmbH at Asklepios. From 2013 to 2020, they were the Coordinator for the German Branch (Asklepios Studiengang) at Pomorska Uniwersytet Medyczny. Ruediger currently holds the roles of Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at Qunomedical GmbH.

Ruediger Heicappell obtained a Master of Arts in Hospital Management from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau between 2003 and 2007. Prior to that, they received an MD from The University of Bonn between 1977 and 1983.
