Bo Hua

Bo Hua currently serves as the Machine Learning Tech Lead and Manager at Quora since April 2017, overseeing the NLP and Recommender system team, with responsibilities spanning language models, feed recommendation, moderation, content relevance, and topic tagging. Prior to Quora, Bo Hua gained extensive experience as a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at Harvard University from August 2010 to March 2017, also completing a Ph.D. in Systems Biology during this time. Earlier academic pursuits included research as a Ph.D. Researcher at Peking University from 2008 to 2010 and work as an Undergraduate Researcher focused on Physics and Statistics.
