Nagavamsi Ponnekanti

Nagavamsi Ponnekanti has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. They started their career at Sybase in 1995 as a Staff Software Engineer and worked there until 2001. They then joined Slam Dunk Networks in 2001 as a Member of Technical Staff (MTS). In 2002, Nagavamsi worked at Kuokoa Networks as an MTS before transitioning to Microsoft as a Development Lead later that year. At Microsoft, they worked until 2008. Following their time at Microsoft, Nagavamsi joined Expedia Inc in 2008 as a Senior Software Design Engineer until March 2010. They then worked at Facebook as a Software Engineer from April 2010 to November 2014. After that, Nagavamsi joined Pinterest as a Software Engineer and worked there until December 2018. Currently, they are employed at Quora as a Software Engineer since December 2018.

Nagavamsi Ponnekanti holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Additionally, Nagavamsi has earned an M.S in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
