Giriraj Bagdi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Giriraj started their career at KPMG as a Staff Accountant in 1997 and worked their way up to Manager, overseeing large and complex audit engagements and conducting acquisition due diligence for various organizations.
In 2004, Bagdi joined Transocean, where they held several positions, including Internal Audit Manager and Decision Support Manager II. In these roles, they managed the Corporate 5-year plan, implemented business intelligence solutions, and established an internal audit office in India.
From 2013 onwards, Bagdi worked at Pacific Drilling, first as a Project Manager - Accounting and Controls and later as an Assistant Controller. Giriraj was responsible for month-end close, internal reporting, financial planning and analysis, as well as process improvement and capital projects management.
Most recently, Bagdi joined Quorum Software in 2022 as a Director of Finance. The company specializes in energy software and they are involved in connecting people and information across the energy value chain.
Throughout their career, Bagdi has demonstrated strong leadership skills, business partnering capabilities, and a focus on driving business results. Giriraj has also been involved in crisis management, internal audit, and data governance initiatives.
Giriraj Bagdi began their education journey in 1997 at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they pursued a degree in Chartered Accountancy. Giriraj completed this program in 1998, specializing in various subjects such as Accounting, Cost Accounting, Auditing, and Tax. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Mumbai in 2000, undertaking a Master of Commerce degree with a focus on Economics. Giriraj successfully completed this program in 2002. Later, in 2012, Giriraj Bagdi attended Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Giriraj concluded their studies at Duke University in 2013.
