Nia Chigogidze began their work experience in 2016 as an intern at Transparency International Georgia, where they worked at the Parliamentary Office. In 2018, they joined the Parliament of Georgia as a Legal Researcher for the Committee on European Integration. In 2021, Nia served as a Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament, specifically in the Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union (Parliamentary Support and Capacity Building Unit). During their time there, they assisted in executing democracy and parliamentary development supporting activities in priority partner countries, such as Georgia, Tunisia, and Ukraine, by planning and organizing capacity building activities, liaising with stakeholders, conducting research, and drafting communication. Presently, Nia is working at Quorum as a Customer Success Associate, starting in 2022.
Nia Chigogidze's education history starts with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Law from Tbilisi State University, which took place from 2014 to 2018. Following this, Nia pursued further education as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar, studying Public Sector Innovation and eGovernance. Nia attended KU Leuven, TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, and the University of Münster during 2019 and 2020.
In terms of additional certifications, Nia completed a UML Class Diagrams for Software Engineering course at KU Leuven in November 2019. Nia also obtained a certification in CopyrightX from the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, although specific dates are not provided for this qualification.
