Robert Rochelle

Robert Rochelle has a varied work experience in the insurance industry. Robert currently holds the position of Head of Brokerage at QuoteWell, a digital wholesaler that provides a better experience for independent insurance agents. Previously, they founded Steward Risk, a modern insurance brokerage focused on serving middle-market clients in various industries. Before that, Robert was Vice President & Shareholder at Alliant Insurance Services. Robert also worked at TCOR Management as a Partner and Commercial Insurance Advisor. Additionally, they gained experience at Quirk & Company as an Underwriter and Broker, specializing in wholesale commercial property and casualty risks. Robert began their career as a Business Analyst at San Antonio Indemnity Company, where they served as a liaison and handled underwriting issues.

Robert Rochelle attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration. Robert then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas A&M University–Central Texas from 2009 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in 2017. Robert also acquired the Energy Risk & Insurance Specialist (ERIS) certification from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI) in 2016, and the Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certification from IRMI in 2014. Robert further obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes in 2021. Additionally, they hold an Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) certification from The Institutes. Furthermore, they possess a General Lines Agent License and a Surplus Lines Agent License from the Texas Department of Insurance.
