Matthew Schleyer's work experience begins in 2003 as the Pool and Patio Manager at Coronado Club Pool and Patio. During their time there, they were responsible for hiring, training, and certifying lifeguards and swim lesson instructors. Matthew also managed the daily operations of the pool and patio, including scheduling employees and maintaining the facilities.
In 2005, Schleyer joined Pier 1 Imports as a Retail Store Manager. Matthew managed profitable sales growth, recruited and trained staff, and was recognized as the Store Manager of the Year at both the regional and corporate levels.
After nearly nine years with Pier 1 Imports, Schleyer transitioned to QuoteWizard in 2014. Matthew started as a Client Services Representative and worked their way up to becoming the Client Services Supervisor. In 2019, they became the Manager of the Elite Agents Team. Their most recent role at QuoteWizard is Director - Insurance, Client Services, which they assumed in March 2021.
Matthew Schleyer attended Ft. Lewis College from 2001 to 2002 but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Relations from the University of New Mexico, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
