Miguel Ros Martín

Miguel Ros Martín has over 20 years of professional experience. In 1999, they began their career as a Junior Developer at Micralogic SL. In 2006, they held a Scholarship at the Department of Statistics, FIB - UPC. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Performance Engineer and Team Leader Developer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Miguel was also a recipient of the eDEISA scholarship and worked on a European project aimed at the integration of some of the most important supercomputers around Europe. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Tuenti, where they were the Project Manager for the Growth/BI team. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at XING and Skyscanner as a Senior Data Science Engineer and Principal Software Engineer, respectively. Currently, they are the Head of Data Science at Qustodio.

Miguel Ros Martín began their educational journey in 1998, when they completed an Intermediate Vocational Training Module in Electronic Servicing at IES Cristófol Ferrer. Miguel then completed an Advanced Vocational Training Module in Development of Computer Applications at IES Badalona VII in 2003. In the same year, they graduated with an Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Sistemas from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. From 2008 to 2011, they completed an Ingeniería Superior in Computer Science at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. In 2012, they obtained a certification in Cryptography I from Coursera, and also completed a course in Computer Science from Coursera.org. In 2013, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from URV - UOC, with a focus in Data Science. Finally, they obtained a certification in HTML5 Game Development from Udacity.
