Anuraj Uthayasooriyan

Anuraj Uthayasooriyan is a PhD researcher at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) since April 2023, with prior experience as a lecturer in mechanical engineering at the University of Jaffna from November 2017 to February 2023. In this role, Anuraj delivered lectures, conducted research, supervised student projects, and managed an ERASMUS+ grant project. Anuraj also served as a temporary assistant lecturer and instructor, teaching courses such as Kinematics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Machines, as well as conducting laboratory experiments. Earlier experience includes an automation engineering internship at MAS Holdings in 2016, focusing on process automation and machine management, and a mechanical engineering internship at Bio Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd in 2015, involving maintenance and process monitoring. Anuraj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, obtained in 2017.
