Dasun Gunasinghe

Dasun Gunasinghe is a highly experienced engineer specializing in robotics and autonomous systems. Currently serving as the Lead Robotics Engineer at the Australian Cobotics Centre since January 2022 and as a Senior Research Engineer at Queensland University of Technology since August 2021, Gunasinghe brings a wealth of expertise from previous roles including Senior Research Engineer in Mechatronics at Mining3, and research positions at the UQ Queensland Brain Institute. With a Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Queensland, Gunasinghe also has experience in embedded systems education and control system engineering at organizations such as Wagtec Pty Ltd and Queensland Urban Utilities.
