George Hickey

George Hickey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in STEM education and technical roles. As a Senior STEM Educator and Learning Designer at Queensland University of Technology since May 2012, George collaborates with academic staff to develop blended learning programmes for postgraduate and corporate courses, including MBA and Executive MBA programmes. Previous experience includes roles as Training Officer and Ground Penetrating Radar Specialist at GroundProbe, where George focused on learning strategies and product development, as well as technical support for radar technology. Additional experience includes serving as a Seaman Officer in the Royal Australian Navy and various positions in software engineering and systems administration. George holds a Graduate Certificate in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from QUT, alongside a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from TAFE NSW.
