Dean Gibson

Dean Gibson has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Dean is currently serving as the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and Security at QuVa Pharma, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Information Technology at Partners Pharmacy for four years. Before that, Dean worked as the Director of Information Technology at Advanced Pharmacy for eight years, where they demonstrated exceptional skills in maintaining high uptime and reducing IT costs. Dean has also worked as an IT Consultant at Reliant Energy and ran their own IT consulting business, Dean Gibson IT Consulting.

Dean Gibson, CISSP, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Security from Western Governors University. Dean completed this degree program from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Dean has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) from (ISC)² in November 2017. Prior to that, in February 2017, they obtained the CCNA: Implementing Cisco Network Security certification from Cisco. In 2016, they earned the CompTIA Project+ certification, and in April 2015, they achieved the CCNA: Cisco Certified Networking Associate R&S certification from Cisco. Furthermore, in February 2015, they obtained the CompTIA Cloud+ certification and the ITIL 2011 Foundation certification from PEOPLECERT. Most recently, in January 2020, Dean obtained the Implementing Supply Chain Management certification from LinkedIn, and in June 2019, they earned the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council.
