Thomas Jones

Thomas Jones has a rich work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Thomas began their career as a Systems Analyst at Thorn EMI Electronics in 1990, and later joined EMI Music as a Business Analyst. In 1997, they moved to Tetra Ltd as a System Integration Consultant. Thomas then worked at Sage as a Lead Consultant before joining Mobile Productivity Ltd in 2000, where they held the position of COO and Company Director for 14 years. In 2014, Thomas joined Apak Group Limited as a COO and CTO for their SPRINT BU. Thomas then worked at Sopra Banking Software as a Business Unit CTO from 2017 to 2020. In the same year, they also worked as an Asset Finance Technology Consultant while being self-employed. Most recently, Thomas has joined QV Systems as their Chief Operating Officer in July 2020 and subsequently became their Chief Technology Officer in November 2021.

Thomas Jones attended Swansea University from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a 2.1 B. Eng. (Honours) degree in Engineering. In 1989, they participated in the Erasmus program at KU Leuven, studying Amorphous silicon films. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1985, they attended Bexhill High, although their degree and field of study during that time are unknown. Additionally, in March 2023, Thomas obtained a certification as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA.
