Quality Analyst & Test Automation Lead at Qvantel

Jaakko Sippola has over 30 years of professional experience, starting in 1989 at Nokia. Jaakko held various roles at Nokia and later at Microsoft, including Quality Program Manager and Head of SW Quality Operations. During their time at Nokia, they focused on driving quality improvement actions based on customer feedback and played a key role in maintaining and utilizing a scorecard for the Leadership team. Sippola also led teams in operational development, quality assurance, and product line management. In 2016, they joined ABB as the Quality and Operational Excellence Manager, responsible for defining and deploying quality and operational excellence strategies. In 2017, Sippola transitioned to Qvantel, where they worked as a Quality Analyst & Test Automation Lead. Throughout their career, Sippola has demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, quality control, and process improvement, resulting in significant cost savings and improved product quality.

Jaakko Sippola completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Tampere University of Technology from 1985 to 1990. Jaakko also pursued a minor in Industrial Economics and Control Systems during their time at the university. Prior to this, they attended Upper Secondary School Lempäälä / Lempäälän Lukio from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained their Matriculation (Eng) and Ylioppilas (Fin) degrees.

Additionally, Jaakko has participated in Big Data Training at the University of Tampere, focusing on Data Analytics. However, specific dates for this training are not provided.
