Pratik Sen

Pratik Sen has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Pratik started their career at Ushacomm India Pvt. Ltd. in 2000, where they managed small teams and customized modules of a COTS product called Unicorn 2. X. Pratik also worked on Level 2 Operations Support and designed and developed a new module called Home Zone Billing.

Following their time at Ushacomm, Pratik joined Cognizant Technology Solutions in 2003 as a Programmer Analyst. Pratik was responsible for analyzing business requirements, delivering relevant documentation, and designing and developing a parser for business rule extraction from existing applications.

In 2005, Pratik moved on to roles at Intec and Ushacomm. At Intec, they worked as a Senior Development Consultant, developing interfaces using Java and Perl to facilitate communication between different systems. At Ushacomm, they served as an Associate Manager, where they focused on requirement analysis, configuration, and implementation of unicorn 6.x modules.

In 2007, Pratik joined Tech Mahindra as a Senior Technical Associate, taking on the role of Team Lead for the BGS Application development team. Pratik also performed requirement analysis for various billing processes and proposed billing solutions. During their tenure, they advanced to the position of Solutions Architect, leading the development of system understanding and standard operating procedure documents for billing platforms.

Most recently, Pratik has been working at Qvantel as a Solution Architect since 2018. In this role, they have been involved in a digital transformation program, implementing cloud-based business support solutions using Qvantel BSS Product Suite. Pratik has been responsible for understanding and fulfilling architectural requirements, designing use cases, and focusing on BSS API area.

Pratik Sen completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2004 to 2006, they attended the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA).

Prior to that, between 2002 and 2004, they studied at the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (S.C.D.L), earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (P.G.D.B.A) with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services.

Between 1996 and 2002, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Statistics at the University of Calcutta.

Pratik'searly education includes attending N.I.I.T from 1996 to 1999, where they achieved a G.N.I.I.T (Graduate National Institute of Information Technology) degree in Computer Applications.

Furthermore, Pratik Sen has also obtained additional certifications in their field. In July 2018, they became TOGAF 9 Certified by The Open Group. In July 2014, they acquired the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from APMG International. Additionally, in May 2014, they obtained the PRINCE2 (2009) Foundation certification, also from APMG-International.
