Dominik Schmidt

Dominik Schmidt is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and academia. Currently serving as President at Translarity since March 2017, Dominik also leads the Silicon Valley operations at QVT Financial LP with a focus on semiconductor, software, and telecommunication investments. As a Professor at International Technological University since January 2009, Dominik teaches Analog IC Design courses. Prior roles include Chief Technical Officer at Intel Foundry, where Dominik worked on advanced silicon integration and technology development, and Founder and CEO of Airify Communications, a multi-com chip company. Dominik's educational background is distinguished by multiple degrees from Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, including a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
